STARS

The thing about STARS is that is shares a period with PE so we have STARS half of the time and PE the other. In STARS we will be learning and practicing being women leaders. We just finished poetry about ourselves and now we are talking about the time when women wanted jobs and men thought women were 'uppity'. We learned what that word meant before we even started the subject. This is not an elective so all the girls will practice becoming women leaders.

Science AP

I LOVE science. When we walk in we need to pick up our composition notebooks and we copy down the agenda that's on the screen. The agenda has the student expectation for that day, a warm up, and the agenda for the day. We just finished the Metric System which I now understand because an AWESOME trick my teacher taught us. Now Science Fair is coming up and and have a notebook just for that and today my class went to the library and we discussed different topics. I'm soo exited.

Math AP

I really like math and I'm good at what we're doing but that doesn't mean it's 2+3. We are learning about exponents, mean, median, mode, range, and different types of graphs. When we walk in the classroom we sit down quietly (some people talk), copy down our homework in our agenda and do the warm up on the screen. For Math you need a separate math binder. Then if you don't have your homework you get in big trouble. You also get a lot of homework in this class but if you just do it you can get it over with.

Fill You In

Hehehe.... Sorry that I haven't been blogging. I have some things you need to have to be great in this school.
  1. You must be ready to do lots of homework.
  2. You must ALWAYS do your best and push yourself to be better.
  3. You must be ready to take the steps to make a change.
  4. You must always try to make friends.
I had a lot of homework over the weekend so I really couldn't do any blogging and I have volleyball practice to so only in my free time can I do this. I really like math because I'm very good at it. Well the teacher thinks I'm so good that when I finish my work I can help the kids, almost like I'm tutoring them. For science, I have to make a film (yay) about science so if I find out how to, I'll post it. The floors just got finished in the gym so we can exercise now. The gym is Huge and there's two!! In world cutlers we're practicing reading latitude and longitude and pin point the exact coordinates. At the very beginning, we learned the continent names and if Ms.Hardwick or any of her students are reading this I taught the teacher the , Up Down Up Down Up Down Down song and she loved it. Well that's all I have to say. Bye!!!!
